Towards a Global Valuation Specialization

The IAAA is at the forefront of the global valuation community. The Institute is participating in a global consultation process on international assessment standards led by a number of international financial and academic institutions.

A set of universal valuation standards developed by the IAAA. A rigorous framework formalizes best practice in the valuation industry. And committed to the highest standards of valuation practice, a multifaceted research process is underway that includes practitioner interviews, publications, and custom IAAA training.

The IAAA leads the way in the transparent and robust process of developing consistent global standards. With the continuous recognition and acceptance in the international market, the demand for IAAA from all walks of life around the world will increase. Professionals across the price spectrum will continue to represent the trusted valuation practice wherever we serve.


Our most recent results rank among our most notable achievements. Partnering with universities around the world, we became the first professional organization to sponsor FutureLearn's massive open online course (MOOC), making us the first organization in the world to use a social learning platform to increase global learners' exposure to property appraisers.

In 2023, we will also launch a new set of level qualification exams - the Foundations in Asset Appraisal (FAA) exam. Our global network of offices continues to expand and student enrollments hit record highs. IAAA offers an exclusive MBA program in addition to the International Certificate in Appraisal (CeritAA). Launch of the IAAA Global Customer Service Center (IAAA Connect), the first 24/7 student contact center established by a global appraiser organization. We launched a continuous professional development program and an IAAA exam syllabus that focuses more on ethics and professionalism.


In order to ensure that customers can get professional evaluation services. Applicants are required to:

1. Completed or earned a bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university

2. Simultaneously complete courses and exams approved by the IAAA committee

(Those who graduate from university and pass the IAAA qualification examination to become an international appraiser  manager can apply for the MBA program of our school's partner university through credit recognition. Only need to add 3 required courses and a graduation thesis to obtain a legal MBA degree graduation certificate .

The universities we are currently cooperating with are: California Metropolitan University  and Nasdaq Business School

The IAAA exam is held three times a year: March, July and November. Test topics include property valuation and law, among other important topics. All aspects of the exam are guided by IAAA professionals, including determining content coverage, scoring, and passing criteria.
